Hi, it’s nice to meet you!

My goal from the beginning was to build an organization that feels like a family to help athletes go step by step to reach their own success. Sometimes that looks like making it to the Olympia stage, or overcoming incredible odds to improve health, or maybe just an item to cross off of a bucket list. But it always is a level of self improvement that no one can take away and maybe give somebody a ‘leg up’ in life.

Seeing competitors learn what works for their bodies is amazing and motivating for me. Everyone is different and contest prep and competing forces a person to discover what system work best to get the desired results for each person’s physique. The personal discovery can be life changing for many!

One thing that I love is to see how many competitors, from first timers to IFBB Pros, see other areas of their lives improve through the journey to the competition stage. I get to hear the most amazing stories. That is truly awesome.

As a Division I college athlete, my experience competing with the best athletes in the world was life changing. I want to encourage the growth in our Colorado NPC and IFBB athletes to become some of the best in the world so that their lives will be changed too. And you don’t actually have to become the best in the world, just being a part of the process is personally enriching.

I would have to say that Michael Hyatt’s book, “Platform,” would be right up there. “The Prodigal God” by Timothy Keller I have read ten times. And I found, “Running For My Life,” by Lopez Lomong super inspirational. As for movies, this stage of life with elementary school kiddos seriously limits my movie watching time, so nothing comes to mind. (I just didn’t get much out of “Beverly HillsChihuahua 3,” but it was fun hanging out with my kids!)

Hmm. Probably that my coach in college, Brian Richmond, is still coaching me through life. He’s amazing. Not just because he’s the only guy I have ever heard of that has a P.E. degree and an MBA and is a CPA(!), but his business and life mentoring has helped me through some tough times.
